Richard J. Stirling

As the son of immigrants, Mr. Stirling understands both the struggles of coming to America as well as the endless opportunities our country has to offer. His grandparents worked to change federal law so they could adopt his father from Korea. Their unending love and dedication brought over a handicapped orphan boy who grew up to lead an organization that brings medicine to millions across the world. Their tireless efforts continue to ripple as their grandson decided to become a lawyer to help the downtrodden and speak for the voiceless. The effect was generational.

Mr. Stirling began his legal career as a public defender and was determined to ensure that the poor still received the utmost representation. He believes that being an attorney goes beyond just legal representation and brings with him empathy and understanding for his clients. During his time as a public defender, Mr. Stirling protected the rights of hundreds of indigent individuals. Many of his clients were immigrants and he has now expanded his practice to directly help those with immigration issues. His grandparents’ efforts have come full circle as he seeks to represent his clients with zealous advocacy and personal compassion in immigration law.
